GIVING OBEYS GOD'S COMMAND
Every man shall give as he is able, according to
the blessing of the Lord your God that he has
given you. (Deuteronomy 16:17)
Our prayer is that offering "Online Giving" will allow us to accomplish a couple of things:
First, online giving gives us the flexibility to give how we want, regardless of day or time. We can give our tithes and offerings in several different ways. We can give with a credit card, debit card, online bank check or a paypal account.
Second, it will help all of us better develop a habit of giving regularly, as well as helping us to be better stewards by giving on a regular basis. Online giving also gives us the option of setting up scheduled (recurring) donations.
Giving is an expression of our thankfulness and praise to God. It comes from the heart which recognizes that everything we give already belongs to the Lord. Our goal is to encourage and provide, giving all credit to God’s love and provision.

Keep Online Giving Option Robust After the Pandemic
As restrictions for in-person gatherings loosen up across the country, many churches, as well as IRBC, are now meeting in-person while other churches are taking steps to do so.
Our plans are to move toward full-capacity services. As a result of restrictions in place during the peak of this pandemic, something rather remarkable has happened: Many worshipers shifted from traditional forms of giving to clicking a button on an electronic device. And while online giving was novel for many congregants prior to the pandemic, the same churchgoers now consider it a viable—even essential—option.
The bottom line: Electronic giving was an option pre-pandemic. IRBC will keep online giving as an option, and also continue to make it better.
